By enrolling in or participating as a mentor in the academy, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

By enrolling in or participating as a mentor in the academy, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
1. General Overview
1.1
The NNCAUK Mentorship Academy is a professional development programme designed to provide mentorship and guidance to nurses and healthcare professionals at various stages of their careers.
1.2
The programme aims to foster personal and professional growth, leadership development, and career advancement through structured mentorship sessions, workshops, and access to resources.
1.3
Participation in the programme is subject to the terms and conditions outlined in this document.
1.4
NNCAUK reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any significant changes via email or the NNCAUK website.
1.5
By enrolling in the programme, mentees and mentors agree to comply with all policies and procedures outlined in this document.
2. Eligibility
For Mentees
Mentees must be at least 18 years old and actively pursuing or working in a healthcare-related field.
Mentees must complete the registration process, including providing accurate personal and professional information.
Mentees must pay the required fees in full before starting the programme.
Mentees must commit to attending all scheduled sessions, participating actively, and completing any assigned tasks or activities.
Mentees must agree to provide feedback on their experience by completing the Programme Evaluation Form at the end of their package.
For Mentors
Mentors must have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in nursing or healthcare.
Mentors must hold a recognised mentorship or coaching certification accredited in the UK.
Mentors must provide evidence of successful mentorship experience, such as testimonials, references, or case studies.
Non-nurse mentors must demonstrate proven experience or capacity to mentor healthcare professionals, with a strong understanding of the nursing or healthcare sector.
Mentors must commit to providing at least 2 hours per month for mentorship sessions and adhere to the programme's code of conduct.

3.2
Each package includes specific features, such as one-to-one mentorship sessions, group workshops, career planning, and access to resources.
3.3
Mentees are responsible for selecting the package that best suits their needs. NNCAUK staff are available to provide guidance if needed.
3.4
The programme is delivered through a combination of online and in-person sessions, depending on the preferences of the mentor and mentee.
3.5
Mentees and mentors are matched based on their goals, preferences, and areas of expertise.
4. Fees and Payments
Member Discount Available
NNCAUK members are eligible for a 20% discount on all packages. Proof of membership must be provided during registration to qualify for the discount.
4.1
All fees for the mentorship programme must be paid in full before the start of the programme.
4.3
Fees are non-refundable. Participants are advised to carefully review the programme details and their personal commitment before enrolling.
4.4
Additional charges may apply for optional services, such as printed certificates or additional mentorship sessions beyond the selected package.
4.5
Payment methods include credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and PayPal.
5. Code of Conduct
For Mentees
5.1
Treat mentors and other participants with respect, professionalism, and courtesy.
5.2
Attend all scheduled sessions on time and notify mentor in advance if unable to attend.
5.3
Actively participate in sessions and complete any assigned tasks or activities.
5.4
Not share confidential information discussed during mentorship sessions without prior consent.
5.5
Adhere to the programme's policies and procedures at all times.
For Mentors
5.6
Provide guidance and support in a professional and respectful manner.
5.7
Maintain confidentiality regarding all information shared by mentees.
5.8
Notify NNCAUK if unable to continue mentorship duties or if experiencing any conflicts of interest.
5.9
Adhere to the programme's policies and procedures at all times.
6. Confidentiality & Data Protection
6.1 All information shared during mentorship sessions is confidential and must not be disclosed to third parties without prior consent.
6.2 NNCAUK complies with GDPR and other data protection regulations. Personal data collected during registration will only be used for programme-related purposes.
6.3 Participants are responsible for safeguarding their own personal information during online or in-person sessions.
6.4 Any breach of confidentiality may result in termination of participation in the programme.
7. Attendance & Rescheduling
7.1 Mentees are expected to attend all scheduled sessions.
7.2 If a mentee needs to reschedule a session, they must provide at least 48 hours' notice to their mentor.
7.3 Missed sessions without prior notice may not be rescheduled and will count as a completed session.
7.4 Mentors are expected to notify mentees in advance if they are unable to attend a scheduled session.
8. Programme Completion & Certificates
8.1 Certificates of participation will only be issued to mentees who complete all requirements of their selected package.
8.2 Mentees must submit a Programme Evaluation Form before requesting their certificate.
8.3 Certificates will be delivered via email (PDF) or printed copies upon request (additional charges may apply).
8.4 NNCAUK reserves the right to withhold certificates if programme requirements are not met.
9. Dispute Resolution
9.1 Any disputes or concerns arising during the programme must be reported using the Incident Report Form.
9.2 NNCAUK will investigate all reports and take appropriate action to resolve the issue.
9.3 NNCAUK reserves the right to terminate a participant's involvement in the programme if they violate these terms and conditions.
10. Termination of Participation
10.1
NNCAUK reserves the right to terminate a mentee or mentor's participation in the programme for:
- Breach of the code of conduct
- Failure to meet programme requirements
- Misuse of programme resources
10.2 Participants may voluntarily withdraw from the programme by providing written notice to NNCAUK.
10.3 No refunds will be issued for participants who withdraw or are terminated from the programme.
11. Liability
11.1 NNCAUK is not liable for any personal or professional outcomes resulting from participation in the mentorship programme.
11.2 NNCAUK is not responsible for any technical issues or disruptions during online sessions.
11.3 Participants are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary equipment and internet access for online sessions.
